Description Hotel Belvedere

The Hotel Belvedere is a contemporary 4-star superior hotel with 55 rooms. It is located at the entrance of Grindelwald less than 10 minutes walking distance to the railway station and the town center that includes shops, a sports center with indoor swimming pool and an ice skating rink. The facilities at the Hotel Belvedere include the non-smoking restaurant Belvedere for high standard international and Swiss cuisine, the "Spycher" for Fondue specialties (open in winter only), two lounges with panoramic mountain views (one with fire place, one in antique style and non-smoking) and the Piano Bar with a large selection of noble cigars for nightly entertainment, snacks and drinks.

Other amenities include an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a new outdoor saltwater Jacuzzi, Finnish- and Bio-Sauna, Turkish steam-bath, rooms for massages and beauty treatments, an internet corner, several conference rooms, children's play room and the garden terrace with magnificent views of the famous "Eiger" and other mountain peaks in the Bernese Oberland.

Description of Double Standard Room:
All rooms at the Hotel Belvedere have recently been renovated and are decorated with modern or rustic style décor and furniture. The Double Standard Rooms are facing north and include a balcony with a view of the "Wetterhorn" and other mountains. Each bathroom has a bathtub including shower, hairdryer, beauty mirror, bathrobes and slippers. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct line telephone, Internet connection (and wireless LAN), coffee and tea making facilities, mini-bar and safe. All rooms have 2 Twin Beds (pushed together). Smoking / non-smoking rooms are available upon request.

Single Standard: Smaller Room for one person; with queen-size bed

Double Superior: facing South with view of the “Eiger” mountain

Junior Suite: facing North or South; with separate sitting corner

Deluxe Junior Suite: facing North or South; with terrace (with best views in town of the “Eiger”!); with Jacuzzi bathtub, separate shower and separate toilet and shower

Family Suite: facing North or South; with separate bedrooms – ideal for families with up to 4 people (more persons possible on request)
