Hotel Steinbock, Grindelwald

The Hotel Steinbock is a “chalet-style” 3-star hotel with 20 rooms. It is the oldest hotel in Grindelwald and was originally built more than 300 years ago. The entire hotel has been completely rebuilt in 1992 and is still offering a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The Hotel Steinbock is centrally located within approx. 10 minutes walking distance to the railway station and close to the shopping street and several public facilities such as the sports center with indoor swimming pool, and ice skating rink (free entrance).

Description of Double Standard Room

All rooms have been completely renewed in 1992 and are continuously being renovated. The rooms are large with a feature a wooden décor. All bathrooms have a bathtub including a shower (some with shower only) and a hair-dryer. All rooms have 2 Twin Beds (pushed together) or a double bed (queen size) and are equipped with cable TV, direct dial-in/dial-out phone and a safe.

Single Standard: Smaller Room for one person, bathroom with shower only

Double Superior: Larger room, ideal for families with up to 4 people.
