Hotel Arc-en-ciel, Gstaad
 The 4-star Hotel Arc-en-Ciel in Gstaad is a cozy family hotel with 40 rooms, suites and apartments in a quiet location at the foot of the "Eggli" ski-area, less than 10 minutes walking distance from the village-center. The bus for easy transfers to the railway station and other places of interest in the Saanenland stops right in front of the hotel. Facilities at the Hotel Arc-en-Ciel include the Restaurant-Pizzeria “La Sarine” with Terrace and Winter Garden - the restaurant is well known for local, Italian and other international specialties, and “Loco’s” Bar for a cocktail or a drink after dinner. Other amenities of the Hotel Arc-en-ciel include the new Beauty-Center for massages and other treatments, a Sauna and Solarium, as well as a heated outdoor swimming pool (summer only). The Hotel Arc-en-Ciel is ideal for families with children (playground, playroom, game saloon & large choice of children dishes). All rooms are non-smoking.
Description of Double Standard Room
These elegant rooms at the Hotel Arc-en-ciel have been recently renovated and feature cozy wooden furniture. All rooms have a balcony either facing North, South, East or West – and all with mountain views. The bathroom has a bathtub including shower (some with shower only) and a hairdryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, telephone, Analog modem for Internet access, mini-bar and safe. Rooms are available with 2 Twin Beds (separate or pushed together) or with 1 queen-size Double Bed.
Description of all other Rooms:
Single Standard: smaller room with 1 bed for one person
Double Superior: larger Double Room; facing North, South or East; some with sofa-sleeper for 3rd person
Junior Suite: spacious room with separated sitting-area with sofa-sleeper; bathtub in the room with breathtaking view; facing South or East
Mini-Suite: spacious room with separated living room area with sofa-sleeper; large bathroom with shower, bathtub and window; large South facing balcony
Apartments: located in the “Residence” connected with the hotel; with 1 or 2 Bed-rooms; Living-room with sofa-sleeper; kitchenette; 1 bathroom; with balcony or terrace facing South
The Hotel Arc-en-ciel is located at the bottom of the Eggli Ski area and is one of a very few ski in / ski out hotels in Gstaad (and Switzerland). Children are very welcome at this hotel and stay free in their parents room in an extra-bed that will be provided.

Directions on how to get there
By public transportation:
After arrival at the Gstaad Railway Station, call the hotel for free pick-up (or even better, let the hotel know your arrival time beforehand, and the shuttle will be there upon your arrival); or take a taxi (approx. CHF 10.00); if you prefer walking (approx. 12 minutes), walk straight (along the Hotel Bernerhof) to the pedestrian zone, then walk to your right and follow this main road until you will see the sign to the “Eggli”-Gondola and the brown hotel-sign for the Hotel Arc-en-Ciel to the right.
By Car:
Coming from Berne / Spiez or Bulle or from the Lake Geneva region over the “Col-des–Mosses”, follow main road to Saanen, then to Gstaad; at the round-a-bout at the village entrance turn right and follow the road through the tunnel and follow the brown hotel sign.
Coming from the Lake Geneva region via Aigle and over the “Col-du-Pillon”, follow the main road to Gstaad; at the village entrance you will see first the station of the “Wispile”-Gondola to your right, then after approx. 150 meters the sign to the “Eggli”-Gondola to the left, as well as the brown sign for the Hotel Arc-en-Ciel; turn left and you will find the hotel after approx. 100 meters on your right side.
