of Double Standard Room
All spacious rooms on the lower floors of the hotel, usually with balcony facing South including view of the Jungfrau mountain range (some rooms facing North). The bathroom has a bathtub including shower and a hairdryer. All rooms feature cable-TV, radio, direct-dialing telephone, wireless Internet connection and a mini-bar. All rooms are equipped with 2 Twin Beds (pushed together or separate); all rooms are non-smoking (smoking possible on the balconies).
Description of all other Rooms:
Single Standard: Smaller room with a double bed; bathroom with shower only.
Single Deluxe: Newly renovated room on the higher floors; with great views.
Double Deluxe: Newly renovated room on the top eight floors; with balcony and wonderful views of the mountains.
Triple: Large double room with an extra bed
Deluxe Suite: 2 rooms; recently renovated; bathroom with a large bathtub; located on the top floors with balcony and great views.

Directions on how to get there
By public transportation:
From the railway station "Interlaken West" walk to your left following the main street to the center; pass the round-a-bout, and after approx. 200 meters you will see the entrance of the Hotel Metropole (you can’t miss this tall standing building). From the "Interlaken Ost" railway station, walk approx. 10 minutes towards the center, after passing the "Hoehematte" meadow on your left, you will see the entrance of the Hotel Metropole on your right side.
From both railway Station you can also get a taxi or the Bus (exit “Metropole”), or call the hotel in advance or upon arrival at the railway station for the courtesy shuttle.
By Car:
Coming from the East (Brienz), take Exit "Interlaken Ost" - follow signs direction "Interlaken Ost" railway station, then direction center on "Hoeheweg" passing the "Hoehematte" meadow (to your left) and you will find the Hotel Metropole after 100 meters to your right.
Coming from the West (Thun, Spiez), take Exit "Interlaken West" - follow signs to "Interlaken West" railway station, then direction center, after passing the round-a-bout follow the main street for 200 meters and you will see the entrance of the Hotel Metropole to your left.
