Hotel Prealpina, Lavaux

The Hotel Prealpina is a 4-star hotel with 50 rooms overlooking Lake Geneva and the Lavaux region of Switzerland. Dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, the elegant Grand Hotel de Chexbres was transformed into the “Institut Prealpina”, a boarding school for girls in the 1930’s. Then in the late 1990’s the Hotel Prealpina was completely renovated and modernized, and returned to its first calling as a hotel. Today it is known for its dedicated staff and pleases its guests with gorgeous views of lake and mountains. The Hotel Prealpina includes a wellness center with sauna and Jacuzzi and a restaurant and bar. The restaurant has an outside terrace and serves a healthy seasonal and international cuisine. All guests are served a delicious buffet breakfast. The hotel is located in the middle of vineyards and their staff will assist you to find and setup a visit of a local winery to taste exquisite Swiss Wine from the region.
