The Hotel Krone is a historical 3-star hotel with 25 rooms located in the heart of Lucerne's Old Town, close to many restaurants and night life. Right next to the historical "Weinmarkt" Square and in the midst of the shopping and pedestrian zone, the Hotel Krone is within 10 minutes walking distance to the railway station. The Hotel Krone has been completely renovated in 1995 and includes a cozy restaurant with a sunny terrace on Weinmarkt square, and a new Internet corner.

Description of Double Standard Room
All rooms at the Hotel Krone are modern and comfortable that have recently been renovated; without balcony with view of either the historical "Weinmarkt" square or the shopping streets. The bathroom includes bathtub and shower (some with shower only) and hair-dryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-in/dial-out phone, coffee and tea making facilities, mini-bar and safe. The rooms feature 2 Twin Beds (separated or pushed together) and some rooms are available with one Queen Bed. Smoking / non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Directions on how to get there
By public transportation:
From the railway station cross the bridge, and then walk along the shores of the river (to the left); when you get to the "Hotel des Balances", walk to your right and you will see the "Weinmarkt" Square where you find the Hotel Krone near the fountain; or take a taxi.

By car:
On the motorway coming from any direction, take any Exit "Lucerne" and follow signs to "Center" and the brown sign "City Hotels"; between the "Hotel Schweizerhof" and the bridge you need to turn right into the shopping area following the brown hotel sign "Hotel Krone" and you find the Hotel at the "Weinmarkt" Square after approx. 200 meters.
