The Hotel Montana is a unique 4-star "Superior" hotel with 62 rooms in Art Deco style emphasizing individuality and "joie de vivre". With fantastic views over Lake Lucerne and the central Swiss Alps, the Hotel Montana is in a peaceful location, yet still only a few steps away from the picturesque Old Town of Lucerne. A cable car carries guests from the lake promenade directly into the hotel lobby (free of charge).
SCALA RESTAURANT:
Johan Breedijk is the new chef - his creative and Mediterranean cuisine fits well into the exceptional atmosphere of the hotel. Only fresh and qualitative high standing produce is used by Breedijk.
His unique and clever style, including truffles and lobster, as well as risotto, pasta and polenta offers variety and fascinates many gourmets. Description of Double Standard Room
All rooms at the Hotel Montana have recently been renovated in Art Deco style. These Standard Rooms are facing the hill, some have a balcony. The bathroom has a bathtub including shower (some with shower only) and a hair-dryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-in/dial-out phone, Internet connection, mini-bar and mini-safe. Most rooms feature 2 Twin Beds (separated or pushed together) while some rooms have 1 Double-Bed (queen or king size). Smoking / non-smoking rooms are also available on request.

Swiss architect Pia Schmid completed the renovation on the 4th and 5th floor in 2002. The rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor were renovated in Art Deco style in 1997. For the first time in the history of the hotel, the two towers were renovated, now housing two Tower Suites.
