Description Hotel Eiger

The Hotel Eiger in Muerren is a traditional 4-star family hotel with 49 rooms, suites and apartments. It is family-run in its 4th generation offering a charming ambiance.
The Hotel Eiger is centrally located in the quiet, car-free village opposite the train station and close to ski lifts and the public sports complex.
The facilities at the Hotel Eiger include the Restaurant "Eiger Stuebli" which is well known for its international and local cuisine, and the "Taechibar" for drinks, light meals and snacks, and with music and other nightly entertainment.
Other amenities include the breakfast and dining room, a lounge, a large terrace with magnificent views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountain range, an indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, and the newly updated sauna and solarium. Guests of the Hotel Eiger have free access to the nearby “Alpine Sports Center” which includes an indoor swimming pool and a wellness area, as well as various facilities for sports such as ice-skating or tennis.

Description of Double Standard Room
All rooms were recently renovated and re-furnished in traditional pinewood style. These quiet rooms are facing North, and profit from the afternoon sun. All bathrooms have a bathtub including shower, hair-dryer and magnifying mirror. All rooms at the Hotel Eiger feature cable TV, radio, direct-dial telephone, wireless Internet access, and a safe. Most rooms are equipped with 2 Twin Beds that are either separated or pushed together and a few rooms have a king-size bed. Smoking / non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Single Superior: smaller room for one person only, facing South with balcony, morning sun and great views of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau mountains.

Double Superior: facing South with balcony, morning sun and great views of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau mountains.

Junior Suite: one Bedroom and a separate small living room with mini-bar (possibility of max. 2 extra beds); facing South with balcony, morning sun and great views of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau mountains.

Deluxe Suite: calm, separate bedroom with luxurious bathroom, and living room (possibility of max. 2 extra beds) with extra shower/toilet and mini bar; facing South with balcony, morning sun and great views of the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau mountains.

1-Bedroom Apartment: for 2-5 people; 1 bedroom, living room, 1 bathroom, facing North

2-Bedroom Apartment: for 4-5 people; 2 bedrooms, living room, 1 or 2 bathrooms, balcony, facing South

3-Bedroom Apartment: for 6-7 people; 3 bedrooms, living room, 3 bathrooms, balcony, facing South
