The comfortable 4-star Hotel Monopol with 68 rooms is located in the pedestrian zone in St. Moritz and close to shopping, entertainment and the “Chantarella-Corviglia” mountain train. The bus stop for transfers to other attractions and mountain rides, and to the railway station is nearby. The hotel also offers a courtesy shuttle service to and from the railway station, which is within 10 minutes walking distance.

The facilities at the Hotel Monopol include the Restaurant „Grischuna“ which is well known for its fine Italian cuisine, the Breakfast & Dining Room, and 3 Bars: the Lobby-Bar to relax reading a book or newspapers, or enjoying live piano music during the winter, the “Grischuna”-Bar to taste a glass of vine from the large vine-cellar, and the “Wellavista”-Bar located on the top floor with large sun terrace and magnificent views of the village, the lake and the surrounding mountains. Description of Double Standard Room

All rooms at the Hotel Monopol are spacious and elegant with stylish décor and most were recently renovated. These rooms have a view of the village and the streets (no balcony). The bathroom has a bathtub including a shower (some with shower only) and a hair-dryer is provided. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-in/dial-out telephone, wireless LAN Internet connection, a mini-bar and a safe.There are rooms with 2 Twin Beds (pushed together) while other rooms have one queen-size Bed. Smoking / non-smoking rooms are available on request.

Single Standard: smaller Room for one person (bath with shower only)

Single Superior: larger Single Room, or on higher floors (with bathtub)

Double Superior: larger Double Room, or on higher floors

Double Deluxe: larger Double Room with sitting corner; on top floors with mountain and/or lake-views

Junior Suite: large unit with separated sitting area and walking closets

Suite: separated living-room and bed-room; bathroom and separate toilet; located on 4th floor with mountain and/or lake-views
