A beautiful panoramic route with no no tab le climbs, leading across the Alpine meadows of Lugnez.
VRIN - GREINA - CAMPO BLENIO / OLIVONE Recommended: Bus Alpin Vrin - Puzzatsch Hiking time Puzzatsch - Pian Geirett 6:00.
A walk through the Greina is an unforgettable experience! Recommended: bus from Pian Geirett to Campo Blenio/ Olivone.
OLIVONE - ACQUACALDA Hiking time 4:30.
The upper Bleniotal valley is rich in flora and fauna – a beautiful area for walking, well-worth exploring.
ACQUACALDA - LAGO RITOM / AIROLO Hiking time 5:30.
From the Bleniotal valley, the route runs via the Passo del Sole (2376m) to the Val Piora. Here you can spend the night by the Ritom Lake or take the cable railway / bus down to Airolo.
AIROLO - ALL’AQUA Hiking time 4:30.
The route runs from Airolo to the Pesciüm mountain and then along a panoramic route along the left edge of the Bedrettotal valley.
ALL’AQUA - ULRICHEN Recommended: post bus Ladstafel - Ulri chen. Hiking time All’Aqua - Ladstafel: 5:00.
This route does not run via the Nufe nenpass but instead goes via the Passo del Corno (2525m) located further south to the Goms region.
ULRICHEN - NIEDERWALD Hiking time 6:30.
A gentle walk through the beautiful Wals villages of the Goms region in Switzerland.
NIEDERWALD - BINN Hiking time 4:30.
Hiking time 4:30. Terraced fields, mown meadows, Alpine meadows, footpaths, irrigation channels, dry stone walls, barns and Alpine cabins characterise this traditional cultivated landscape.
BINN - ROSSWALD Hiking time 7:15.
The walk runs through the delightful Suflischtal valley to the Suflischpass (1506m) and into the small ski resort of Rosswald above Brig.
ROSSWALD - GRIMSELPASS / BRIG Hiking time 7:40.
The route passes round the Gantertal valley in a wide arch via the Simplon-Passstrasse road and on to the Simplonpass. Various short-cuts available. If required: valley trip to Brig by post bus (several trips each day).
BRIG / SIMPLONPASS - GIW - VISPERTERMINEN Recommended: cablecar Giw - Visperterminen. Hiking time Simplonpass - Giw 5:00
From the Simplonpass, the route runs along the Bistinepass (2417m) and onwards along a panoramic route from Suonen to Giw.
VISPERTERMINEN - SAAS FEE Recommended: cablecar Visperterminen - Giw. Hiking time Giw - Saas Grund 7:00.
Plea sant panoramic route which runs along at a fairly even height of 2000m.
SAAS GRUND - GRÄCHEN Recommended: bus Saas Grund - Saas Fee. Hiking time Saas Fee - Hannigalp 5:00.
A fantastic high trail with views of Balfrin, Bietschhorn and Weissmies. The mountain trail is very narrow in places and secured with ropes. Recommended: cable car Hannigalp - Grächen.
(GRÄCHEN) - ST.NIKLAUS- GRUBEN Recommended: Bus Grächen - St.Niklausen, cablecar St.Niklausen - Jungu. Hiking time Jungu - Gruben 6:00.
Gentle ascent through the inner Tälli to the Augstbordpass (2893m). This is the highest point on the tour.
GRUBEN - HOTEL WEISSHORN Hiking time 5:05.
