I was attending a business conference in Basel, and was fortunate enough to find Magic Switzerland and Connie Janggen to plan a vacation traveling throughout Switzerland the week before.  I definitely thought that working with a travel agent who actually was from the country that I wanted to see was a bonus.  And I was right!

With Connie’s help, I decided on the Golden Pass rail tour based on the time of year I was traveling, where my conference was located, and what I wanted to see.  I was so pleased with my travel arrangements – the hotels selected were cozy, unique, and charming.  And all with excellent locations as they were within walking distance of the train stations – nice as I was traveling alone exclusively by train.

Connie’s printing itinerary took out a lot of the possible anxiety in traveling alone, as it was extremely detailed, down to explicit directions in how to fine the ticket counters in the rain stations, as walking directions from the trains to my hotels.  Helpful hints on recommended restaurants and
