About six months ago, a good friend of mine and I decided that we wanted to travel to Switzerland. After looking at countless trips that had you on a train day after day with little time to tour the area, somehow I found Magic Switzerland. To make a long story short, I was so fortunate to get Connie Janggen.
Connie had a true knowledge of Switzerland since she is a Swiss native which moved to the US later in life. She truly listened to our interests, but also offered suggestions when we were trying to squeeze too many cities into a moderate amount of time.
Connie provided us with a detailed itinerary, with numerous times of departure, how many times we would change trains, platform numbers, suggested sites to visit, and some restaurant recommendations.
It was the best of both worlds. We were traveling independently, but had the guidance of a  Swiss expert to help the trip run as efficiently as a Swiss train!
We met numerous people during the trip that had mistakenly tried to combine too many countries or cities of distance in too short a time, leaving them tired and their vacation more of a chore.
Once we had selected our destinations, Connie provided a selection of comparable lodging, again we were given the tools but we made the final decision.
We had decided for a first class Swiss pass which I cannot recommended enough. The lodging ran the gamut of larger resort hotels, family run small hotels, and sleek modern urban lodging.
Connie is the quintessential professional, personable, knowledgeable, but one that truly cares about providing her clients with an unforgettable experience.
Everything she had promised was delivered and then some! Words cannot express what an enjoyable experience we had in such a magical country.
