\nCompact, close to the city centre, almost astonishingly clean and home to many great shops and restaurants, Z\u00fcrich Airport is hard not to love. But for plane spotters, it gets even better thanks to its duo of observation decks. At Deck B, for which there is a small admission charge, you can pinpoint not only planes from the observation walkway but pilots in the cockpit as well. Built at around 3,000 meters (10,000\u00a0ft) above sea level, it is believed to be the highest-elevation\u00a0suspension bridge\u00a0in\u00a0Europe. I felt a little shaking when I was crossing the bridge. It takes around 150 heart-pounding steps to reach the other side of the bridge.
