Overview

Discover the Vineyard Terraces Lavaux, the unique wine region that stretches along the lake between Montreux and Lausanne.

You will be taken on a drive along la “Corniche” – the steep and narrow road – that lead you through the villages and along the large and typical stone houses where the wine growers live and press their grapes.

Take to your bicycle or even walk to discover the 800 hectares of terraced vineyards of the Lavaux that have been accorded UNESCO World-Heritage listing. A footpath of 32 km in length leads from Lausanne-Ouchy to Chillon Castle. En route you'll find 7 circuits complete with information panels detailing every facet of local viticulture. Taste locally produced wines in an authentic wine cellar and learns more about local wine growing culture and grape varieties.

From vine to wine in Lavaux

Assist a Lavaux winemaker in his daily work and enjoy an authentic experience of man and vine. This half-day of discovery includes working in the vineyard or the cellar (depending on the season), visiting the estate, wine tasting with a snack and a bottle of wine to take home as a souvenir. All reservations must, if possible, be made at least 10 days in advance.
