The Hotel Sunstar in Grindelwald is an elegant 4-star hotel with 209 rooms and apartments. The hotel is centrally located across the street of the “First” cable car, near shopping and other attractions, and within less than 10 minutes walking distance to the Railway Station. The facilities at the Hotel Sunstar include the Dining Room (for guests on the Half-Board menu plan), the well-known gourmet restaurant “Adlerstube” for international and Swiss specialties, and the spacious hotel lounge with open fireplace and a cozy bar for drinks and snacks, often with live music entertainment in the evenings. Description of Double Standard Room

All rooms at the Hotel Sunstar were recently renovated and decorated in rustic alpine style with pine wood furniture and facing North with view of the mountains (no balcony). The bathroom has a bathtub incl. shower and hairdryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-out phone, wireless LAN internet connection, mini-bar and safe. The rooms feature 2 Twin Beds (pushed together). Non-smoking rooms are available upon request at time of booking.

Double Deluxe: quiet room facing South with balcony, view over the valley and the famous “Eiger Northface” (mountain)
