The Hotel Eden Palace au Lac in Montreux is a superior 4-star Victorian Hotel with 100 rooms. It is located right on Lake Geneva and close to the shopping streets and the casino, and within approx. 10 minutes walking distance to the railway station. The hotel has been completely renovated while the original style has been carefully preserved. The facilities of the Hotel Eden Palace au Lac include the restaurant "La Terrasse" for traditional French cuisine, with the garden restaurant "Le Jardin" with great views of the lake and the French Alps; "1900", the Belle Epoque Breakfast Room, the Hotel Bar and a large Lounge.Additional facilities include various Conference Rooms and a modern Fitness Center with sauna and steam bath.
Description of Double Standard Room
 These spacious rooms at the Hotel Eden Palace are decorated with Louis XVI furniture and are facing North with balcony with view of the city of Montreux (some rooms without balcony). The bathroom has a bathtub including shower, and also is equipped with a hairdryer. All rooms feature cable- and pay TV, radio, phone with modem, safe and mini-bar; Internet access through Wireless LAN or pay TV. All rooms have with 2 Twin Beds (separate or together) and rooms with 1 queen-size bed are available also.

Double Superior Room: facing South; with balcony and lake-view
Junior Suite: large Double Room with sitting corner;
facing South with balcony and lake-view
Suite: very large unit on the 5th floor; with balcony and lake-view

Directions on how to get there
By public transportation:
Exit the Railway Station through the main exit and cross the Plaza and the street, then walk for approx. 50 meters to your left where you see to your right a sign for the elevator which is taking you down to the main street; then walk to your left, cross the street and walk along the lake-promenade for approx. 5-8 minutes; after the McDonalds restaurant you will see the Hotel Eden Palace au Lac sign and the entrance to the hotel. Or ask for a taxi in front of the railway station (approx. CHF 15.00).
By Car:
Coming on the Highway from any direction, take Exit "Montreux", then always follow the signs to "Montreux"; straight at the round-a-bout and 2 traffic lights, then at the lake-side street turn left (direction "Villeneuve"); follow main street along the lake through the center of Montreux, following signs “Casino”, turning right and in front of the casino to the right, where the Hotel Eden Palace au Lac is located after approx. 100 meters to your left.
