The Hotel Sunstar in Grindelwald is an elegant 4-star hotel with 209 rooms and apartments. Description of Double Standard Room
All rooms at the Hotel Sunstar were recently renovated and decorated in rustic alpine style with pine wood furniture and facing North with view of the mountains (no balcony). The bathroom has a bathtub incl. shower and hairdryer. All rooms are equipped with cable TV, radio, direct dial-out phone, wireless LAN internet connection, mini-bar and safe. The rooms feature 2 Twin Beds (pushed together). Non-smoking rooms are available upon request at time of booking.

Single Room: smaller room with bed for one person; facing North

Double Deluxe: quiet room facing South with balcony, view over the valley and the famous "Eiger Northface" (mountain)

Directions on how to get there
By public transportation:
Take train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald; after arrival, call the hotel for free pick-up (or even better, let the hotel know your arrival time beforehand, and the shuttle will be there upon your arrival). If walking (approx. 10 minutes), walk along the main road towards the other end of the village, where the Hotel Sunstar is located to your right (opposite the cable car station to the "First" mountain).

By car:
After reaching the village entrance, drive on the main road through the village; the Hotel Sunstar is located towards the end of the village on the right (opposite cable car station to the "First" mountain).
