1st Day

2nd Day
Full day at leisure in Lucerne. We suggest the following Lucerne excursions: Mount Titlis with its famous revolving cablecar, Mount Pilatus the Golden round trip or Mount Rigi the Queen of the mountains. Overnight in Lucerne.

3rd Day
Today you will take the stunning route of the Gotthard Panorama Express to Lugano. This ride links two of Switzerland's attractive regions: Central and Southern Switzerland. The world‐famous Gotthard line swiftly climbs from 470 to about 1100 meters above sea level to finally enter the 15‐kilometre‐long Gotthard tunnel – Europe’s most important North/South gateway. Overnight in Lugano.

4th Day
Day at leisure in Lugano. Enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere, stroll along the lakeside promenade or take a trip to Monte Brè or Monte San Salvatore – the two closest mountains to Lugano, both offering outstanding panoramic views. Overnight in Lugano.

5th Day
Today you will take another stunning route with the Bernina Express. Depart Lugano with the Bernina Express coach to Tirano (Italy), followed by the train that will connect you with St. Moritz. This train journey over the Bernina Pass is an incredible experience and one of the most spectacular routes across the Alps. Traveling over circular viaducts, the train climbs to over 2,000m above sea level, with stunning views over snow‐capped mountains and glaciers. Overnight in St. Moritz.

6th Day
Day at leisure in St. Moritz. Wander around the old town at your leisure and soak up the atmosphere, take a stroll around the lake or hike along one of the scenic hiking trails of the Upper Engadine. Explore the local
mountains such as Diavolezza, Corvatsch, and Muottas Muragl. Overnight in St. Moritz.

7th Day
Morning departure on the famous Glacier Express to Zermatt. The Glacier Express is a fascinating 7½ hour rail journey across the Swiss Alps, crossing 291 bridges, passing through 91 tunnels and climbing over the 2.033m high Oberalp Pass. Experience the Alps in all their breath‐taking glory from the comfort of your seat in the panorama car: unspoiled mountain forests, lush Alpine pastures, rushing streams and valleys with their rich traditions stretching back hundreds of years. Overnight in Zermatt.

8th Day
Day at leisure in Zermatt. Explore this charming car-free village which is dominated by the unmistakable peak of the Matterhorn. Zermatt is encircled by a ring of four‐thousand metre peaks. At the foot of the Matterhorn, the old village has preserved its original character and traditional features. Overnight in Zermatt.

9th Day
Day at leisure. Return to Swiss border or individual onward journey.
