The Luzern-Interlaken Express takes travelers along 4 lakes from Lucerne to Interlaken, connecting two of the most famous destinations in Switzerland. The enchanting ride takes you from the Lake Lucerne region in Central Switzerland to the Bernese Alps with its famous resorts of Wengen, Mürren and Grindelwald. The route along Lake Lucerne, Lake Sarnen, Lake Lungern and Lake Brienz is very scenic and culminates with a ride over the Brünig Pass.

In Interlaken you are close to the famous peaks of Mt. Schilthorn and Mt. Jungfrau. Interlaken is the gateway for both these and many other mountains. In Lucerne, you will experience one of the prettiest Old Towns of Switzerland, situated between the lake and the mountains.

On the ride of just two hours you will see beautiful landscapes including meadows with cows, lakes, waterfalls and the magnificent Brünig mountain pass. You will enjoy some of the most spectacular views the Swiss mountains have to offer. The panoramic windows, air conditioning and a Bistro car guarantee for a memorable ride with the highest comfort!

In Interlaken you can connect with the GoldenPass Express which takes you from Interlaken via Gstaad to Montreux on Lake Geneva.

This train runs once every hour in both directions. Seat Reservations are possible, but not mandatory.
